Our Executive team
Kemi Adeyanju
Kemi Adeyanju is a strategic public policy executive specialising in shaping the future of digital ecosystems. With over 16 years of international leadership, she excels in AI regulation, digital infrastructure, and privacy governance across more than 33 countries.
As Director of Aetheris Consult Ltd., she advises regulators and global technology firms on implementing responsible AI and privacy-by-design strategies. Her expertise extends to the complex regulatory governance of critical infrastructure, including subsea cables, LEO satellites, and hyperscale data centers. Kemi has played a pivotal role in advancing cross-border regulatory alignment for landmark projects like the 2Africa subsea cable, a multi-billion dollar initiative connecting over one billion people.
Her influence extends to standard-setting bodies, where she serves as a Pen Holder on a working group for the ITU Advisory Board on Subsea Cable Resilience, actively contributing to the development of global digital policy frameworks.
Her previous senior policy, regulatory & compliance roles at Meta Platforms Inc., SubCom LLC, and MainOne (Equinix) provide her with a unique, multi-stakeholder perspective, bridging the interests of the private sector and public regulators.
Kemi holds an MSc in International Management from the University of Liverpool, an LL.M from the University of Lagos, and executive certificates in Public Policy from the University of Virginia and Sustainability & Corporate Governance from the London Business School respectively. She is also the Co-Founder of ASEF Africa, Women in Technology Africa (UK Chapter Lead) and served as a UN UK Women’s Delegate (CSW69).
